Media and Areas of Practice
Students really explored texture and clay processes in this scheme. They generated ideas with a mind mapping stage and created research with rubbings, drawings and screenshots using google earth.
Students learned about the history of clay and how contemporary artists use it today.
Through making pinch and coil pots with clay the students had a strong idea of how to create their final vessel. They carried out a design stage and continuously evaluated each stage following.
Evaluation and Assessment
Students were informed of the learning at the beginning of each lesson. They were also given written success criteria for their final piece along with an evaluation table to be filled out on completion of each stage with reference to success criteria written on the board.

Powerpoint Presentation on This Scheme
