Visual Art for the Classroom
Throughout studying to become an art teacher, many mini projects were carried out that could be potential schemes. This broadened our knowledge and skill set in artistic practices.
Painting
VAC
Exploring colour theory, composition and value with photography and creating a monochromatic colour painting.
I researched my surroundings with photography and recreated my best image in the form of a monochromatic painting. We collaborated in groups, each choosing a colour of the rainbow and an A3 sized segment of a very large assembled paper sheet.

Digital Media
VAC
Practicing digital media techniques and collaboratively work in a group, we created a series of video based research projects on famous artists from the past.
Working in our small group, we created a short stop motion video with sound based on a given historical artist. We also played with green greens and created short films.
Graphic Design
VAC
Playing with composition, shape and space through graphic design processes and creating an advertising exhibition poster based on my studio practice.
Linking my studio area into education, I used photographs of samples and manipulated them with photoshop. My entire process is recorded.
