ABOUT

BA in Education and Fine Art at National College of Art and Design
Specialism in Applied Materials: Textile Art & Artefact
Awarded a first class honours

I am a site-responsive artist from the Wicklow mountains who explores scientific concepts and historical practices through fabric manipulation and storytelling. My work explores circularity and bio-material processing, working within the landscape and the seasons to harvest what grows from it.

Outside of studio practices include photography projects and seascape oil paintings. I celebrate swells and crashes in dramatic storms as well as glimmering calm reflections of sunrises. My seascape paintings are an expression of an obsession for the sea and its many beautiful forms.

My digital teaching portfolio remains password protected, please contact me if you wish to view it.
